Dr. Sam Wicker grew up in Jefferson County, Tennessee on a small family beef farm. He quickly fell in love with farm life, even hand-milking the Jersey, and was introduced to veterinary medicine through the local bovine and equine vets. Dr. Wicker attended the University of Tennessee, where he worked in the vet school and shot fireworks during the summers (mostly over the 4th of July holidays). After graduating in 2013, he worked at a large animal ambulatory clinic in central Pennsylvania before joining Perry Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Wicker is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the International Embryo Transfer Society. He now lives in Batavia, and enjoys traveling, hiking, and riding his quarter horse.
