Kendra Sims, DVM
Dr. Kendra Sims grew up in Worcester, MA. At a young age Dr. Sims started fixing pretend “boo-boos” on her family dog and in general, had a love for all animals. When she became an active horseback rider, she would take extra care of a small scratch or stay at the barn all day so she could be there for the vet visits. Later in life Dr. Sims realized how veterinary medicine impacted the community and she couldn’t see herself doing anything else but helping others and their beloved pets. Dr. Sims graduated from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst with an undergrad degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences. She then attended vet school at Ontario Veterinary College in which she graduated in 2016. Dr. Sims professional interests include companion animal medicine, dairy consultation and research, and is an Omega Tau Sigma Professional Veterinary Fraternity Delta Chapter President Alumni. She has received many leadership awards within the OTS Delta Chapter. Dr. Sims is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, American Veterinary Medical Association, Ontario Association of Bovine Practitioners, and the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, DIY projects, and visiting family in New Hampshire. Dr. Sims currently lives in Leicester, NY with her cat Remington and dog Roskoe.
